Where the learning is still limited face-to-face and some are online. This adaptation of the learning transition process requires an NHT learning technique that makes it easier for class II students to understand the concept of social studies learning in the natural and artificial environment as a whole and is able to increase their motivation in learning. The research method uses a quantitative design using a non-equivalent control group design. The results of the research are 1) the level of understanding of the social studies concept of class II students who learn with the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning technique is better than conventional learning techniques of 0.429 (results from the t-test) and 2) the level of motivation to learn social studies of class II students with this technique. Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning of 0.733 is better than conventional learning techniques which is only 0.704. The learning process in schools tends to emphasize the achievement of changes in cognitive (intellectual) aspects which are carried out through various forms of approaches, strategies, and certain learning models. Learning systems that specifically develop affective abilities have received less attention, affective abilities are only used as a nurturing effect. This study aims to (1) find out whether online learning is able to bring out the affective abilities of prospective study program teachers (2) analyze the affective abilities of prospective teachers in online learning. The data used in this study is qualitative data. The technique used is a questionnaire. This questionnaire was given to respondents, namely students of PGSD teacher candidates at Muhammadiyah University of Pringsewu. The results of the study indicate that affective abilities can appear in online learning as evidenced by the results of the questionnaire that has been given to respondents. The indicators of affective ability in this study include attitudes, interests, self-concept, values, and morals, all of which are in the good range. This paper </p> <p>examines social studies education in terms of its history and development using historical </p> <p>method steps, namely Christianity, source criticism (external and internal), interpretation </p> <p>and historiography. The development of social studies education in Indonesia has adopted </p> <p>social studies education in several major countries in the world. The United States and the </p> <p>United Kingdom are the references for social studies education in Indonesia. This refers to </p> <p>the similarity of the conditions of its multicultural society and the background of the chaotic </p> <p>conditions of the State at that time. However, the development of social studies education in </p> <p>Indonesia has adapted to the conditions of society and government in Indonesia so that it has </p> <p>an impact on the preparation of the social science education curriculum in Indonesia which </p> <p>is conveyed to learning in schools. Along with the development of technology, social studies </p> <p>education develops by utilizing various sources and learning media. In addition to taking </p> <p>advantage of technological advances, the development of social studies learning materials </p> <p>also involves the wider community. A similar institution owned by Indonesia, namely </p> <p>HISPIPSI (the Association of Indonesian Social Sciences Education Graduates, which has </p> <p>now changed its name to HISPISI or the Indonesian Social Science Education Graduate </p> <p>Association. This development was an obstacle at that time, due to the absence of a strong </p> <p>institution to become a foundation or strength. In compiling a curriculum according to needs. </p> <p>This is not only difficult in its development, but also about its appropriate content. Value and Attitude Dimensions (Value and Attitude) Values and attitudes are beliefs </p> <p>or principles of behavior that have become personal in a person or a certain community </p> <p>group that is revealed when thinking and acting. Values are the skills to hold a number of </p> <p>deep commitments, supporting when something is important with the right action. Attitude is </p> <p>the ability to develop and accept certain beliefs, interests, views and tendencies. In other </p> <p>words, students can see well the diversity of values in society and they can know the value </p> <p>and implications of these values. Action Dimensions (Action) This social action is an </p> <p>important dimension of social studies because social action can allow students to be active </p> <p>learners, by practicing in a concrete and practical way, learning from what is known and thought about social issues to solve so that it is clear. What to do and how in this way </p> <p>students will learn to become effective citizens in society. The dimensions of social action can </p> <p>be learned at all levels and in all classroom actions. The dimensions of social action for </p> <p>social studies learning include the following three activity models: a) community modeling in </p> <p>solving problems in class such as how to organize and work together, b) communication with </p> <p>community members that can be created, and decision making can be part of class activities, </p> <p>especially in when students are invited to make an inquiry </p> <p>Key words: Development of PIPS in Indonesia and the Dimensions of Value, Attitudes and </p> <p>Actions</p> PUTRI MARDZUKI Copyright (c) 2 1
